The Tabriz Noir Garden belongs to the rarest category of Persian design — the allover garden pattern. Against it, ivory roses, blush peonies, sage green leaves and dusty rose florals cascade in every direction simultaneously — thousands of individual blooms woven into a single continuous composition that moves across the surface like a garden seen from above at the height of summer.

The border is ivory — wide, generous and carrying its own botanical procession in blush, sage and antique gold that frames the garden within with the considered elegance of a ha-ha wall around a great English estate. Between field and border, a fine band of terracotta acts as a horizon line — warm, grounding and just present enough to hold the composition together at its edges.
